Violin inspired by an early period
Joseph Guarneri del Gesu
Constructed by David T. Van Zandt
in 2000

This instrument has been in professional use by
Nat Hewitt
since January, 2001. Because of its slightly diminutive dimensions
(described below) and rounded upper shoulders, it is exceptionally comfortable to hold and play. It
produces a wide pallet of colors with no loss of volume of sound compared with
violins of larger dimensions.
